This is the largest bedroom, which is only appropriate since it was Edward Churchill’s master suite when he built the mansion in 1889. It features an exquisite antique French bedroom set in walnut, including an ornate-carved king-size bed, a triple-mirrored armoire, richly carved marble-topped matching night stands, dresser with ornate mirror, and dressing table. The original gold-leaf tiles frame the magnificent carved redwood fireplace and giant Victorian bathtub showcased in the room. A large two-person tiled shower completes this very grand room.
